In the frame work of National Tourism Year of the North-Central – Hue 2012, Phu Loc District’s People Committee will coordinate with Thua Thien Hue Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Tourism Association to organize “Lang Co – world beautiful bay” festival from June 16 -17, 2012 at Lang Co Town, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province.

The festival will be held to promote sea tourism with many activities as traditional boat racing at Lang Co, amateur bike racing, crafts exhibition, sea food festival, beer festival, sport activities: football, volleyball, traditional games: kite flying, tug-of-war, cock-fight…

The festival is aimed to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of Lang Co’s recognition as one of the world’s most beautiful bays. Up to now,
The opening ceremony will take place at 7pm on June 16 including many traditional art performances. The program will be live broadcasted on TRT (Thua Thien Hue’s Radio and Television)Vietnam has three bays listed among the world’s most beautiful bays: Lang Co, Nha Trang and Halong.
